Clutch problems!!!
« on: July 27, 2013 - 12:28:58 AM »
Hello

I have got a strange clutch problem on my 71 Cuda with 440 and Tremec TKO 5 speed

There is a Mcloed twindisk clutch on the car and that works great, the problem I think is more on the realese side

For realeasing this there is mounted a will hydraulic system, and lately its not totaly disengaging the clutch fully.
The problem seems to come and go, but its there most of the time.. but like yesterday when I parked in my garage, everything seems good.. testet the clutch 20 times and its disengaging the clutch every time... 1 hour later the problem was back!!
I have tried to air out the system, and it seems to me that there is not comming the same amuont of fluid out of the bleeding everytime I push in the pedal!!

What could be the problem!!

air in the system , mismatch between master & slave where the master does not not have enough volume , too much play in the pedal travel .  :dunno:
