Looking at suppliers that sell restoration fuel lines, they all list main, return, and vent lines for our cars. Best I can tell my '72 only has a 5/16" main (feed) line and a 1/4" vent line, and NO return line; does this make sense or am I missing a line?
The 'Cuda was built in early April of '72; a 340 4bbl (steel crank), automatic, with factory A/C. It has multiple vent tubes at the front of the gas tank that have hoses running to a "chamber" on the frame body, with a single line running from the chamber up front to the charcoal canister. That vent tube "breaks" up forward with a short rubber line, then back to steel. The fuel pump only has a line in and a line out.
Also, any feedback regarding ready-made fuel line suppliers would be appreciated.
Thanks!
