Hey WSM, wish I was going to Carlisle, we need to talk! Sounds like you might be from my generation! I did a bunch of the same, "I guess I was into other things of fun and mischief" LOL We could share a bunch of stories and I'm sure there are a bunch of others here on the site that could tell us a few hair raising stories  too!! Hope to hook up with everyone next year if all goes well. I'm Sublime green knowing you are all going. Hope everyone has a great time!  :grinyes:

Well Plum, it all started back in 1946............well, I better not get into all that here, lol. But in a nutshell, I'm a country home boy who wasen't one to follow the leader, a rather independant cuss, was born a bit prematue delivery wise and still a bit (perhaps a lot) that way for an old fart. About the only thing on tv that I watched was football and baseball, well as a kid there was the old cartoons on Saturday morning, and they were fun to watch, not like some of the crap our grandkids watch today. And yes, after school there was the Mickey Mouse club, but honestly that was about it. I always lived in the country as a kid and through my teens, worked my butt off on the farm and divised my own entertainment, some of it a bit ornery to say the least. But never got in trouble with the law or took any drugs of any kind EVER ! Well, you probably get the picture, and hell yes I'd love to meet you, people can laugh, but as the years pass you really do enjoy meeting people like those on this board, I haven't met a bad one yet and don't expect I will either............come on to Carlisle friend, time is a fly'n.

Wel WSM, you have a few on me there old fart, I'm a 1952 model year and still in my youth so to speak. Sounds like you had some of the same up bringing as me. Farms tend to make for a fun place to grow up!! Hope you enjoy your time at Carlisle and that goes for everyone from here. I feel as though I know many of these good people on here and haven't ever spoke to most, a few I have talked to and enjoy that very much from time to time. We get carried away in some of the unusual silly threads and things but I think it's like an adult playground of sorts where you can let loose a little and just have some good fun! Anyway, bad boy image or not, most everyone here that I know of are very good people with a passion for those BAD Boy image Mopars and that's what brings us all together I guess. I'm addicted not only to the cars but the people as well and especially this site! Guess there are other sites that some get hooked on but for me this worked out the best, a lot of activity, good people, good information and that's the best mix you could ask for. Sorry for the novel, just got carried away again!
