10.5 + 10.9 = 10 7/8 pressure plate
« on: August 06, 2013 - 05:29:05 PM »
I talked to Brewers about my 70 Cuda 383 4-speed which has a clutch/pressure plate that needed replaced. They said that with my bellhousing and flywheel I would need to stick to my existing 10.5. But that they had a 10 7/8" McLeod pressure plate with a 10.5" housing and a 10.9" plate (notched for clearance) which would also allow for a 10.9" disk.

See and ye shall find !!   :D

In dealing with McLeod the 11" disc is the same but the 10.95" pressure plate is totally different , it is Called a 10.95 to seperate it from the larger 11" unit for the 143 tooth flywheel . Just so you know you can get a very unique pressure plate the Borg & Beck / Long style only from McLeod , this combines the best features of the B&B & the Long style usually only found in Ford applications .
