'71 Barracuda
« on: June 01, 2010 - 06:16:22 PM »
I am offering my '71 Barracuda for sale, I don't really want to get rid of it, but I haven't been driving it much and I could use the money for other things.  I am asking $30,000 for it, which may be a little high in todays economy, but there aren't that many '71s for sale cheaper.
The car is not a show car, it is driver quality.  It was originally a 318 car, now has a 440.  It runs good.  It is auto on the column, bucket seats.  The transmission is a TCI, just installed 2 years ago, right before I bought the car.  The body is in good shape, it does need a patch on the drivers side fender behind the front wheel.  I do have a patch for it.  I also recently took off the vinyl top to fix some rust.  Most of it was just surface rust.  I have a new vinyl top to put on it.  It will need paint, it is Light Mettallic Gold (GY8).
I am located in central Virginia, any questions email me at williamm968@aol.com.

Cool car. I remember wanting this one before you got it. :D

Good luck with the sale. I'd toss up more pictures if you've got them.

Sorry to hear that you have to sell it Bill.....if I had the $$ I would buy it from you.  Mine's getting a complete makeover right now so I couldn't even sell it to raise the funds for yours.....but I wish I could.....love that year.

Best of luck on the sale!  :2thumbs:
