Regarding the NAG1...it is much shorter and more narrow than the 545...

Anybody with NAG1 experience...anybody...tap tap tap squeal...is this thing turned on...I'm here all week and remember to tip the waitresses?!?!?!?

(Looking around for more dead horses to beat emoticon)

I have  5.7 with the nag trans in my 73 cuda. I only needed to massage the tunnel a little for the fill tube to clear. Beyond that there are a few tabs on the trans case I cut them back for additional clearence. Beyond that and fabricating a trans mount  it is fariley straight forward.

Yes. I have a fair amount on another forum. I have seen you there so I guess you have already viewed them.

I can post the links if you like. I have newer ones  and will post them in the next few days.

Cool Ray. I am planning on another pro-touring Cuda build after this one with a Auto trans. I am out here getting some ideas.

:iagree: with PlumCrazyChris, I used that thread continually as a reference for my Gen 3 swap.

I think Bob with the Twisted Fish Cuda got the NAG1 working.  He used a FAST XFI system for the engine and a stand alone controller for the transmission if I remember right.  Check out his build thread for one of the nicest Cuda's you'll see.

2nd,
Not sure what the actual issue is. You can make anything work as long as the motor and trans can bolt up to each other.  YOu may have to make some floor mods but who cares? Cut the tunnel out and rebuild the tunnel around the transmission along with the cross member.

After that you can make it work with an aftermarket transmission controller.
