I read on another forum that type f will help shift firmer. is this true? I have a 46rh, will type f affect the overdrive in a bad way?

F type is less slippery & if the trans is new you can use F type , not a lot of gain you already have ATF in the trans though , the F type is tougher to get now & I have no clue about the compatability with the newer 518 trans though
