Will 255 60 R 15 tires fit on 15x7 Rallye rims? also what would be the backspace needed to install on a stock 70 Cuda (rear)? and if so, does anyone have any pics of this setup?

This may help. It will allow you to compare 2 wheels/tires and tell you the changes. It's not perfect but it should get you a ballpark:

Yes, they will fit. I've got P255/R6015 Radial T/As on the rims shown below that I purchased from Jegs. They fit just fine on my Challenger with a Dana 60.
56 Series Chrysler Rallye Wheel
Size: 15'' x 7''
Bolt Circle: 5 on 4-1/2''
Rear Spacing: 4-1/4''
Part Number # 939-56-5712044

Thanks for the info "PlumCrazy...", I heard that that Challengers had a little more room in the rear wheel well. I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger... Also, what size do you have on the front? looks good...

I have 255/60-15 on an 8' rim with 8 3/4 rear end. My rims have 3 3/3 backspace and it's too tight. I've had to grind of a bunch of the inner lip of the wheel well because the tires would rub with 4 people in the car when I went over a bump. This is on a Challenger. I'm not sure what the backspace is on rallye rims.

There's still quite a bit of room with the 255's on my car. I'll try to post a few pictures.
I have 235's on the front but I want to go to 215's to make the steering a little easier in tight spots.

The tire manufacturer will have specifications for the recommended rim size. Reading those specifications is your best bet.
