Any news on this one?
Thanks for asking. No new news on the car yet. My house is finally finished and the convertible is back in her spot in the garage. Unfortunately, she's doubling as a storage shelf while I'm moving back in but at least she's home. Right now my garage is packed full of moving boxes so I can't even get close to the car to do any work on it or get any new pics. It may take some time to get back to getting the project started since I need to get my life back in order and moved back into my house.
I haven't forgotten the forum. It's just that I have nothing new to report or any new pictures. Figured stories and pictures of my house weren't relevant to the car story so I didn't see the need to post anything about that.
As soon as any new developments happen (realistically, by late summer) I'll be posting an update.

This is so sad. I hope you can save it.

Did you ever find out what started the fire in the garage?
Did it start in your garage or was it your neighbors?

Everyone made it out and that's the most important thing.

Just read this thread for the first time and man, I'm all choked up about it :'( Story kind of reminded me of my '70 Challenger 'vert that I had. It got T-boned too, but in the passenger side. Mine didn't burn, but I did give up on it after it got 'boned. At the time ('89 or '90) I didn't think they could save it (it was bad - got 'boned by a F-150 4x4) so I sold it. With the advent of aftermarket replacement parts it's simply amazing what they can save these days. I give you props for sticking with it and not giving up. :worshippy Wish I would have done the same all those years ago with mine.

Anyway, I see that you are in the St Louis area - me too. If you ever need a hand or anything let me know. Wish I would have caught on to this thread sooner so that I could have offered to help you out earlier. Let me know.
