there's boots out there with different angles on them.
check Summit
you can fabricate your own wires, and have them come in from different directions, like under the headers.
Then with header wrap,and heat shields, you boots my last.
Ceramic coated headers are a lot cooler.
the boots on my 99 trans am have metal shields that slip over boot. They are like a thin walled shiney pipe
about 1 inch in diameter and 4 inches long.
