8 wide 4.5 b.s.

The backspace is the key part of it all. If you pickup an 8" deep dish with only 3.75 backspace, it isn't going to work. If you use a later model 8" with 6" of backspace, it isn't going to work. You want to stick with 4.5" backspace. If you step down to a 4.25" backspace, you may be limited to a 255 width tire.

There's another set of 14" road wheels on Moparts. Check out the "wheels and tires" section.
Thanks Burder. I'm going away from 14 inch rims. Tire choices are slim for 14s.

:2thumbs: Rodger that. Rears will be 8 inch with 4.5 backspace. If I put 8 inch up front what backspace there? Prolly a 235/60 15 tire.

If you go 8" all around, then 4.5" will fit all around. if you go 7" up front, then you can back off to 4.25 without any problems.
