    Hi   I just joined , and I am still not sure how this all works, but I will eventually figure it out..   I have a 1970 barracuda, grand coupe that I have been working on. It is a 383 car.  about 940 made this way. It has 70k original miles on it, and is well preserved.   I am trying to work on the headliner, as it has come loose from the cardboard backing.  I tried to get the interior Mouldings off,  the ones that go over the doow and back window. they seem to have clips that hold them on, and I do not want to get too agressive with them. And I do not want to remove the window channel rubber unless I have to.. Should I force them off?  or is there another method?    ANY ADVISE would really help me out.    Thanks VERY much for info.   ROD

    Welcome aboard. This IS THE forum to get ur answers.
    I would suggest posting a separate thread on your question to get a bigger audience and bigger response to your problem.
    And as mentioned. POST PICS of what you have. WE WANT TO SEE!!!

    Welcome Rod.  I have a '70 383 Gran Coupe also. Although I have a 440 in it now. Anyway, the window molding has two screws one on each end. The front screw also holds the A-piller cover on. The rear screw you can get at after taking off the rear seat side cover. Then the molding will pull down. There are clips attached to the back side of the molding that hold it on. Just pull the molding straight down with a little effort, it will come off.

    Welcome. You've come to the right place for all your Barracuda questions.   I don't know if you've found the screw above the dome light yet.  It holds up the center of the headliner.  Also, there's a ground wire screwed into the ceiling above the rear view mirror, so you'll have to take off the  front of the ceiling console (with an allen wrench).  Many mysteries await you as you get deeper into your project.  Enjoy.
