license plate light install help
« on: August 27, 2013 - 05:50:53 PM »
I have a '72 Barracuda currently without a plate light. I bought the housing and lens off flea bay. When I went to install it there was a single black wire there. I went and bought a single wire housing for it and a new bulb. The tail lights worked fine but the plate light was still not working. Is the plate light supposed to be a 2 wire , one power and grounded? If it is a single i can't check to see if it is getting power...dead ...I mean dead battery right now.

There are no ground wires in that harness, everything just uses body grounds.
