« on: July 23, 2002 - 12:50:48 PM »
Anyone know of a good website or reference that outlines how to convert from an auto to manual Tranny ?
I am new to doing this on a Mopar.

Thanks.

do you have a parts car? if not you will have to find a floor pan (new ones can be got for e-body's, Badhemi on this board sells them..)pedals, Z-bar,ball studs for Z-bar, bracket that goes on the frame for the Z-bar(welded i think)the linkage from the pedal to Z-bar & z-bar to clutch fork. i know that there's more but i can't think of it now. good luck

Thanks for the replies, keep them coming.  I don't have a parts car because I haven't decided on a primary car to modify, yet.  Hopefully I'll find an 70 - 74 E-Body with a 4-spd in my price range, but if I find an auto, I want to know what I'm up against.   Backup plans are for a 66 Charger or a 71-72 RoadRunner or GTX.  I don't want a numbers matching cause I'm going to modify it a bit.
