Brake Booster Advice Needed
« on: August 20, 2013 - 07:29:48 PM »
OK, so I'm looking to replace my brake booster and possibly the master cylinder, maybe to one with screw-off caps, maybe chrome but I need some advice.  My car originally was built with the power disc/drum setup but I converted the rear to discs and added a proportioning valve.  Now when I'm looking at brake boosters I see 7", 8", dual boosters, etc.  What am I looking for?

Hard to say what will work best , i have tried a number of different boosters with varing results , the best is system by far is is the hydraulic hydro boost using pressure from the power steering pump .
