Gentleman in Washington State enjoys driving this 1972 sunroof Challenger.

Here is what the 1971 sunroof Sebring Plus looked like when I liberated it from the salvage yard.

I bought a parts car for my current 71 SSP, and used a lot of parts off it to make the sunroof car look a little better.

The sunroof car will have to wait until I finish my current 1971 SSP.

Scott.

Thanks for the info.  I have yet to see a 72 challenge with a sunroof.  Have you seen one?

your sebring sounds cool.  Got any pics to share?

Josh: There is a 72 340 four speed in a Montana wrecking yard with one.  The guy would sell it if you were interested.  It is a heater delete car that originally came from Hawaii.

Wow!  Butterscotch?

Did you click a fender tag readout?  Looks like it's in pretty good shape.

Washington huh?

I'm old so I remember that the challenger was considered the "uptown" sister to the cuda during producton years.  That may be why the suroof option was only available on the challenger.  Interestingly, it seems that most of the sunroof challengers also have the electric windows, air and other "luxury" options.
