interior electrical problems

Hi I am currently restoring my first car. It is a 1972 challenger. So far I have swapped the engine to a 440 and installed a full painless wiring harness 10127. So far I have figured out how to fix my flaws as I'm going on. I am very stuck on a few things. So first i had a turn signal issues and fixed that. Now I'm stuck with the interior. My car did not come with it original wiring harness but i do have the interior parts. The electrical components are driving me crazy. My gauges would not work so then I purchases a new voltage limiter. It still doesn't work and i can't figure out how to wire the gauges and the interior lights. Even with the wiring diagrams available online i just can't figure out the issue. Any help would be great as I'm trying to finish this car before the summer and can give it to my dad as a retirement gift. Thank you

Are you looking at the wiring diagrams in the manual? Makes it pretty easy

Factory service manual for sure , power should go to the voltage reg & ground at the sender for the oil temp & fuel , the reg should put out 5v
