And a comparison of the driver's side door pillars on the Barracuda vs. Challenger

Even before stripping, the Barracuda one is cracked and collapsing on itself.  The Challenger one, while pinholed, is still in better shape after stripping.  At least there'd be something to weld a patch to.

Ultimately, the Barracuda will need as much, if not more metal replaced than the Challenger.

Yep.

$15K is awfully expensive for a set of 318 'vert tags and only part of the convertible specific stuff to re-skin a hardtop.....

That's the only reason the yellow one is still sitting there. Whoever buys it is guaranteed to lose at least $20k on it in the end. This one will eventually go to someone desperate for a convertible that doesn't know any better.

No Max does not do any metal work. All the metal work was performed by Keith Sim. Max didn't have anything to do with this particular car.
