Just dropping in to say Hi. I've been into Chargers for the last 15 years and after a turn of events led me to sell my recently acquired '68 project car for an offer I couldn't refuse, I was finally able to dive into an E-body. I picked this one up locally, CA car from day one, last registered in 1990, still has the original blue plates and is now in my name on a non-op until mid-November. I bought it non-running, trans condition unknown, dead electrical system and trashed fuel system, leaking tank and all, and no brakes. For a total investment of about $300 it now runs perfect, shifts normally, stops quickly and has a new Spectra Premium tank. I'm leaving the body and paint alone for now and starting from the inside out as a driving project. Yes, it will stay a slant 6.
The red '67 shown below I've had since 1998 and have taken it from a wreck to what you see here.... Numbers matching 440 car, stroked to 496 putting out 647HP/687lb.ft. on pump gas.
