    '72 Challenger from Colorado

    Just recently bought a '72 Challenger out of Michigan, originally a 318 but now has a 340, body is in great shape with a little rust in lower quarter panels. Interior looks decent. Engine needs a little work, think the elevation (im up around 9,000 ft) is the main issue. Hoping to get it restored little by little. Looking forward to all the info on the site. This is my first restoration so any suggestions are welcome!

    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

    Unfortunately its an A/T was really looking for a 4 speed...oh well.

    I grew up in the Alamosa area but now I'm up near Fort Collins. Maybe I'll get some more pics up later this week. Is your car jetted any special way for the higher elevation or have you had to do anything special to make it run better??

    Yes you will have to rejet the carb( I use a pyrometer installed on the exhaust system with a bung) I run as lean as possible with out getting to  hot ,  and you can also run a little more advance in timing ,I am here in Denver and there are a few more from the colorful state of Colorado , dont hesitate to ask for help :thumbsup:
