I had to use the wipers on my car and found they were missing a piece. Looking for the proper clip that holds the secondary arm on the driver's side. I have no memory of what it's supposed to look like.

stainless bent over in a U , the bottom grabs the groove & the top hooks over the stud with the U laying on its side

That is not a picture of the correct clip. The correct one has an arm that goes over the stud and hooks on. It has to be lifted up then pushed back to remove the clip.
