Probably needed a heavier spring in the rear so it would open slower & reduce the bog , this is one of the main problems with the vacuum secondary , there is only 1 squirter to cover both so you end up with a larger on in front wasting fuel everytime you open the throttle , the mechanical will easily match the fuel economy IF you can keep your foot out of it .... good luck !!

I'm thinking of going the proform route after I get everything settled in later.

So you were starving the secondaries eh? How many steps up did you have to go on the rear squirter?

Any off idle stumble?

Down in the front but up in the rears, had a heck of a time with squirters though. Used a really big on in the back to get rid of the bog. Finished with tuning the pump cams... still not perfect but much better. Every engine/location will be different though.

I checked my bill file and I bought the 3310 in 1987. Wow. Doesn't seem like 26 years ago. Must be getting old.. Bought it when I was 23...
