cuda rectangular exhaust alternatives
« on: November 16, 2013 - 09:33:04 PM »
ok so i have a new mandrel bent exhaust system in from the previous owner of my 73 cuda he has the 2.5 inch pipes going out the rectangle cut outs 3 inches obviously for tips to be installed later. the pipes are straight 2 feet under the car. and i see the original tips have bends where the pipe clamps to the tip flange. i need tips that are like the original rectangles with a straight flange meeting the straight pipe. that is the original 2inch by 6.750 inch rectangle and slant cut rectangles like original. the closest i could find is cherry bomb( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/imm-577449/overview/ ). But i hate the rolled edges on it and the straight cut (none slanted)

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"
