Anyone know the procedures for removing/replacing the tail shaft bushing in an A833 4 speed?

If you can get your hands on the correct puller then all you need to do is drain the oil, pull the driveshaft and change the bushing and seal from the outside rear of tranny. When installing the bushing you need to be careful as you are working around the tailshaft. I used a special tool to install that as well. Good idea to change the seal as well and check where the yoke rubs on the bushing. They get worn to the point where they chew out the bushing prematurely.  Last time I did this I changed to a brand new driveshaft yoke and rebalanced the driveshaft. A little expensive but these cars are old so sometimes you have to replace or at least check more than you planned. I try to keep my car as smooth as a new car which at present it is.

Try this old article from 2010. Basically what I said and shows the tool you need. Also a great installer tool made from plumbing supplies.
