Hi Chryco l was told if l decided to use forged pistons they tend to be a little noisier. Is this true ?

yeah if you can hear them at all over exhaust cam etc LOL , I would only use a forged piston , for the $200 you save running a weaker cast or hyper piston the gaskets will cost more

Forged pistons are always the strongest... hyper-utectics are still cast. You want to be assure yourself with some protection from detonation/pre-ignition by favoring forged pistons (in performance applications). When the options exist, go with forged pistons.

Go with Forged. Cast has some advantages in newer cars with computers to control the detonation as they do not change size as much with heat and can have tighter tolerances. But Forged is going to handle any trouble YOU might have much better.

4032 forged is my preference, unless your going for huge boost numbers or ridiculous amounts of NOS, then the 2018 alloy would be a better bet.

This would give you less duration & make it more drivable with more lift to boot

This comp cam has duration @050 lift is 230 int 236 exhaust. Buy the sounds of things this comp cam is a little to much cam for what I am looking for not looking for the mustangs and Camaros. just a highway cruiser. The passion 5 speed 833 just not in my budget .
Thanks again
