Car Craft Hemi barn find
« on: November 15, 2013 - 05:44:30 PM »
Saw the magazine a year or two ago, and then happened onto this thread today:

Never saw it posted here. Kind of a cool story

Wow! That was a good story. Too bad it didn't have ME in it!

I had pretty much came to the belief that the infamous "barn finds" pretty much had dried up. With the internet now mainstream and easily accessed, I assumed anyone with an old car in the barn could easily do a little research on the web and figure out what it may be worth. :dunno:
Cheers!

It would be easy to think so, but there are still large numbers of people out there that don't surf the net. There are still people who don't have cable and haven't been exposed to Barrett Jackson either.

I think we will see more of these popping up in the years to come as more boomers die off and their families, that don't care for the cars or the troves of parts, are enstranged, or flat out hate what they represent, acquire their stashes and decide to liquidate their inheritances.
