wiw rallye hood?
« on: December 16, 2013 - 12:25:36 PM »
I know some who's dad has a hood off a 72 cuda. He has a aar hood on it now so he is willing to sell the hood. He won't just sell me the scoops and gasket I need but he doesn't know what to ask for it. Condition unknown.  Are these bringing big bucks?

Just saw a scooped Challenger hood at the Nat's this past summer for $25.  Was in decent shape but needed a little work.  It was there all weekend.  I don't know if it ever sold.  I think the price has really dropped since AMD pieces came out.

The last Cuda hood I sold was $50 including the scoop inserts, hood pin bezels and 340 emblems....
I brought a decent 70 Challenger fender and trunk lid to Carlisle last Summer....Ended up leaving them there 'cause I had no room for them on the return trip and I would have to pay tax on them bringing them back into Canada....
AMD has killed the market on used sheet metal :2cents:

I sold a Cuda one recently for $150 to a local guy it was very decent and had the scoops. I had it on craigslist a couple of times for $250 and no responses at all. Its all about timing if someone local needs one it will sell. It is very unlikely anyone will pay to ship one somewhere.

Wow I guess all those folks who ask 250-350 never get that.

Hmm wow prices have dropped.
