But they said smoke and consumption would end in time? I blew up 2 snowsleds using Castrol 2 stroke oil, and blew a turbo using Castrol. Not sayen it was the fault of the oil, but enough of a coinsidence for me to stop using it. Also after the rebuild of the "blue fish" pops used Castrol, sae 30 (as the motor builder said the old engines dont like multi visc oils) and it would make 0 oil pressure at idle. So you had to keep your foot on the gas to make pressure at any stop light/ sign. We switched Pensoil sae 30, and it makes great pressure, even on hot 90 degree days in stop and go traffic! My point after all this rambling is that Restor might work very well for some, or most applications. A survivor car for instance that you do not wish to tear appart seems like a great candidate. I guess it is trial and error to see what works best for you.  :2cents: Sorry for the novel.
