Steering gear box leaking but not sure where
« on: December 21, 2013 - 04:47:29 PM »
I keep getting puddles of fluid around the adjustment bolt on top of the steering gear box.  Could it be leaking from there?  I got it a couple of years ago from firm feel.  Car only has 3500 miles on it.  It's not the pump it's not wet anywhere.

Apparently from the diagram there are several o rings.  I was just hopping I wouldn't have to pull it out and send it off.  But trying to tear it apart to replace the o rings maybe over my head.  Getting it back together correctly and adjusted I don't know.  I am just supprised it is leaking.
