I find that so weird as every performance car I've owned since the 80's I've had one and at the track with literally 100's or stock cars never seen or had one one fail? ( Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.... now I've jinxed myself?)
I know lots of people with them around here with no problems i'm aware of. It's why I bought one. I had two oem types ones fail on me though.
