Speedometer Cable Retainer/Clip?
« on: January 09, 2014 - 03:01:57 AM »
Does anyone know if this speedometer cable retainer/clip is being reproduced?  If so, where can I get one/who has them?  If not reproduced, what (if anything) have you guys done?  Is there a suitable alternative that's both effective, and "not-too-cheesy"?  Thanks.

I thought my speedo cable came up through the center of that bracket...not on the side of it. :clueless:

No...He's right it does come up on the leftside of the pedal bracket. Don't think the clip is being reproduced.

Maybe an B Body Air Grabber hose retainer clip will do the job....They look nothing like it, but will retain the cable :dunno:

I know I ran mine through the center.  I'll have to check it out in the spring. I'm surprised I was able to get it hooked up that way.

I'm fairly certain that the correct cable routing should be along the left side of the pedal assembly, but here's a photo (showing the same clip/retainer) with the cable running up through the center of the pedal assembly.
