tranny tunnel interchange ?
« on: March 25, 2005 - 01:04:08 AM »
Is the tranny tunnel the same in a 73 charger, and a 70 chally? i think they are, but want to make sure. I found a '73 charger in a local junk yard with a good tunnel with all the brackets for a floor shifter and console still on it. shifter and linkage gone, but brackets and tunnel are hard to find. he will cut it out for $45.

also found a full size early 70 plymouth (no markings left on it), think it's a fury, with floor brackets and linkage. will the tunnel, and linkages work from it in a chally?

anyone need a-body parts? they have a bunch of early 70 darts demons ..... they have a '75 with a factory sun roof, and a fancy interior.
several 67-9 cuda's, but they're pretty chopped.
vert 60's furyIII
1 1/4 challenger (most of a rusty 72 318 car, and rear pass 1/4 of a 70/1 car)

everything in the yard is pretty picked over.

yard next door has about 1/2 of a cuda, but it looks like termites ate it. everything usable is gone except the k member, and i'm not so sure about that it looks bent.
I found the meaning of life once, but forgot to write it down.

You can buy the entire tunnel??? You sure that's not just the "hump"? Their site is down right now but I've never seen an entire tunnel for sale unless it was cut off a parts car.
