$$$
Did a rough estimate for all of the front / rear end ( suspension ) stuff I need, it's adding up fast,   :22yikes:
-Manual steering box
-Pitman and Idler arm
-Column Adapter ( power to manual steering )
-Suspension rebuild kit
-Front and Rear sway bars / kit
-Torsion bars
-Bilstein shocks
-ESPO rear leaf springs
-Dana 60
-Frame connectors

You can bolt in a later steering box to use the newer cheaper pitman arm as well to save a few bucks.  I used a later PS box no problems.  Fwiw

anlauto, thanks, that's what I thought I was going to hear, like you mention, probably smarter to replace everything while I have it apart, thank you.

Uh-Oh, watch out with this line of thinking. Early October I started on a front brake upgrade to viper calipers with a $1200 budget. After the "while its apart" syndrome, I have converted to firm feel stage 3 power steering with fast ratio arms, moog ball joints, problem solver uca bushings and 11/16 tie rod ends, pst 11/16" seamless tierod adjusters, firm feel LCA stiffening plates, adjustable strut rods, poly  bushings, poly lca bushings and greasable pins, rear sway bar mounts, end links and poly bushings, 1.06 T-Bars, Hellwig 1 1/4" front sway bar. Hydroboost, TTI headers and X pipe. Still not stopping there - gping on to Milodon Road race Pan, High Volume oil pump, cam, lifters and timing set. I blew my budget so far by 6 times and easily the same in time with all of the seam welding, grinding and painting. But its all worth it, its all stuff I had on the list so it just got done sooner - ok by me.
