A red part for christmas
« on: December 19, 2013 - 08:11:08 PM »
I just got this in from migsBigs.
He's great to deal with.

70 red console with a 4 hole top plate
Has the typical broken part :( :( :( :(

Thought I would share.

This is my third original red part.  (second console)

That is what i like to hear, because it is just a standard console at the end of the day, only made in Red is the difference. :2thumbs:

It does have the typical broken part.

I figure I have to find another junk console, dye or paint the broken part white, then dye red.
And dye the full console at the same time.

Wish it would just clean up pretty.
I'll give it a whirl, but it has had a hard life.
It's repacked in my shed with the other parts I am amassing for the build. If I ever get to the actual building.

You had better be ding that build buddy, i want to see the Flying Fish completed. Would even be worth flying over to see the finished car if it comes out anything like the Beck Photochop, and i hope you find the inspiration to get stuck in to it Josh  :2thumbs:

yeah, I have a thread.
Rocky mountain resto.

Just haven't done anything to the console, so I didn't put it on there.
When I restore the console, I'll put it on my thread.
