I am 95% confident that the engine is a crate 360-380 bought in late 1999 with 2-3K miles on it now. I have the puchase reciepts, photos of the engine in the crate and going in the car etc. I dont see where anything has been changed etc. Possibly I should yank out the cam and change the intake to a dual plane?

I am going to wait on the convertor change until I find out about the engine etc. The rear gears are 3:91, enough for the engine I feel. Regarding the timings etc, even at 16 degrees initial, the car starts very easy, hit the key and it fires etc.
Now for Chryco......Florida is nice right now, spring breakers are almost gone...maybe a nice weekend trip is in order?
Maybe a bunch of North Florida Mopar guys would like to have a 'tuning for beer' session on a Saturday? The Corvette Forum does this on occasion where we fly in the known Corvette magician and all meet at a buddies garage for aa tuning tech session. Lots of fun and beer and tire smoke etc!
