1995 Mopar Nationals
« on: February 06, 2014 - 04:03:07 PM »
I was digging through a closet here at home and came across some pictures I took at my first Mopar Nationals in 1995.  I was so excited to see all the cudas that I think I took a picture of eveyone I saw . . lol.  So if you were at the 1995 Mopar Nationals in Indi with your cuda, post up here and see if I have a shot of your ride!

I was there, most likely with my 71 Butterscotch Duster Twister with a folding vinyl sunroof :smokin:

I think my Brother-in-law may have brought his "Killer Cuda" that year....A purple/green over-the-top Pro Street 71 Cuda... :eek2:

That was my first Mopar Nats as well. I did have my T/A there to. But I guess you didn't snag any photos of the challengers. It was in the Trans Am tent except for Sunday when we just parked in the rows of cars.

That was also my first Mopar Nationals.  I've been going every year since.  I remember seeing a very rusty yellow T/A Challenger for sale under a tent.  I think the price was $5500 or something like that.  I thought that was ridiculous.  I've always wondered what happened to it.

Ya know I probably took maybe 3 pictures of challengers out of the 75 or so and here is one of them . . . Is this your car?

I have been looking in the background of the pics looking for a butterscotch duster but . . . . and no pic of a purple/green cuda . . . I definitely would of got one if I had seen that car??   :dunno:

Did that car get painted yellow or is that a completely different car?

Now I will need to look for my 1996 pictures as I think I have a shot of that somewhere.  Wasn't it 97 when we moved back to Columbus?

I think it was 98.  I'm pretty sure I went to Indy for three years.(The Nat's were there for four years)

The first few years when it was back in Columbus was awesome!  Brice road was a blast.

All through the 80's the car was yellow/black Pro Street. It was featured in a couple of magazines back in the early 90's along side my curious yellow 1971 440+6 Cuda convertible. :2cents:

I'm not thinking so. I had GoodYear Polyglas tires on it for the show. The ones on this car look to be radials. I also have wheel lip molding on the car.

Cool, that was my first Mopar nats too!  I didn't have a car there, actually I flew down there with a couple friends.  If anyone has a picture of the Piper Archer I flew to a nearby airport that day let me know!
The airport let us borrow an old Chrysler station wagon to drive to the show, so at least I had a mopar there even though it was parked in the spectator parking.  I remember it was like 100 degrees, I got so dehydrated I still felt sick a couple days after the show.  I saw a lot of cool T/A's and AARs there though, so it was a fun day.
