New hood - use existing hood latch?
« on: January 13, 2014 - 04:49:28 PM »
I'm about to purchase a new steel r/t style hood for my 73 challenger. Is the latch install as simple as removing the current latch system on my flat hood and installing it on the new r/t hood?

There's a pull handle under the hood in the grille section. Nothing inside the cabin

You should have no problems then. I put an AMD hood on my 71 Challenger, everything worked great !

AMD is the plan. Suggestions on vendor with the best price? I'm in NJ so shipping may be an issue
