They are VERY easy to rebuild yourself. Just buy a couple snap ring pliers for the retainers and it is a very easy relaxing way to spend a couple hours on a Saturday afternoon.
I bought my parts from Jamie Passon. Nice guy to deal with. I think the parts cost me $175. It's been a few years though so I could be off a bit.

I bought a complete conversion kit for my car from brewers and everything was perfect. Trannie is a little tight getting into 3rd, nothing to bad just little tighter than the rest. Talked to Wayne about it and he told me to run it for a year or so and it should loosin up, if it does not and it is not to my liking they would make it right. They even brought the kit to Carlisle to save me the shipping. They seem like really good people.
