I just this past week repaired a leaking brake line in my 92 Stealth. It leaked in an inaccessible spot behind the engine on the firewall, so I had to snake a full 84 inch line from the left front wheel connection through the fender, along the firewall and all the way over to the most accessible part of the old line I could find on the inside of the right front fender, and I made my coupling splice there. If you have ever taken a look under a twin turbo stealth hood, you know that was no easy task. The flexible steel lines are great.
Anyway, I have speed bleeders on all four of my stealth calipers, and it made the bleeding job super easy. Just kept pumping away as my help kept filling the reservoir, and I bled all four corners simultaneously with about 20 pumps of the pedal. Took about 3 minutes and hopefully virtually all the old stuff has been replaced.
Does anyone sell speed bleeders for oem type calipers?
Basically just has a ball and spring check valve inside it so you can pump the pedal back and forth without fear of drawing air back in the caliper as you let off the pedal.
