Cool Wheel Selection....
« on: February 12, 2014 - 10:28:11 AM »
Okay...So this big bad B7 blue Road Runner has been taking up space in my shop for a while now, so I thought I would play around with some tire selection.

I've had these Cragar's sitting around for sale with no takers, so I thought I would prop them up and have a looksie....

I'm in love.... At first I wanted to sell the owner my wheels...but now I want to buy his car !

The owner Winters in Mexico,  :bigshades: so he hasn't seen the car painted yet....I think he's going to likey likey.... :money:

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

I alwasys wanted them when I was a kid. Could never find  the cash to buy them. I always had to go for something cheaper. My favotite was the gray spoke wheels but could'nt have them either.

There's a performance shop near me that I bought a set of Crager SS mags from back about '78. I was in there recently (after a 35 year absence) to get something for the Chally and mentioned that. They said Cragers are still their top selling wheel.
