    Electric Choke Power Source

    I'm going to hook up an electric choke on my 6-pack, where is the best place to source power for the heater on an a electric choke? I know it should only power up once key is in "on" position. Thanks.

    The input to the ballast resistor is a good place if you have a two prong ballast resistor. If you have a 4-prong ballast resistor, I'm not of much help.   :grinno:

    Hi
    On My Barracuda,  the power was spliced in  with the blue wire on the back of the altenator

    Blue 12v wire , feeds the Alt field , voltage reg , feeds the ballast
