I'll be the first to admit I'm not up on my pre-70 B Bodies, but....

My customer owns a 1969 Super Bee....he bought it in parts, so some of the stuff he has does NOT belong....anyways tonight he's telling me that his original hood has chrome trim along the front edge....

I can't find ANY 1969 Dodge Coronet body style, not Super Bee, not R/T, not 500 with trim on the front edge of the hood....Am I losing it, is He correct ?

Any pictures ?

69 Coronet and Super Bee had a white metal filler piece on the bottom of the front edge of the hood it gets painted factory color and is not Chrome
Part number is 2898314

Yep, no chrome on bottom edge of hood, should be painted body color but it is a metal filler.

Okay....That makes sense I guess....The owner keeps talking about "hood trim"...maybe that's what he is reffering too
