72-74 grille WIW
« on: February 10, 2014 - 08:24:52 PM »
Have my spare grille that has been restored. Real nice shape, cracks have been ground and filled. Only problem
is I have 2 bezels for the left side. Might find a rh bezel to make it a set. Any opinions on price? I wouldn't ship
If I cant fix it, it's broke

I sold a restored unit last year at the Portland swap meet got $850. I also used the headlight bezels to help support the end pieces. Your right its a very fragile piece no shipping allowed!

I purchased a full grill with only one or two small flaws.  Original paint in decent shape.
Had the headlight trims, valance, and wiring. lower grill.  Total cost right at 1K.

So with yours restored definitely 1K+  .

With lots of people on the web though, you could post it for 2K over on moparts.  Seems that is pretty common.
They keep doing it so I assume some must sell for some of those prices.   ( not bashing moparts )
