Looking for 70 to 74 Barracuda  Cuda
« on: March 25, 2002 - 04:12:46 AM »
I am looking to find a 1970 to 1974 Barracuda or Cuda. Needs to be cheap. Around $1000 to $1500 or so, I know they exsist but they are hard to find. Condition does not matter!!!!! Just needs to be restorable. I dont need an engine or trans, just car and frame. Near death cuda's or real basket cases wanted. Looking for a long term project.   Thanks

I'm sorry guys. I forgot to post telling you that I have found one. I bought a 1974 'Cuda in the heart of Nebraska. It was less motor an trans but I don't want no 318 anyway. I have a 383 ready to go in soon as the body is in better shape. Thanks for looking and sorry I did not let you know....

So here is some pics of what I found in the middle of Nebraska. Where it spent it's whole life. It has been sitting at this guys house in an out building sense 1982. But anyway, it is a 1974 'Cuda. Originally was a 318 auto. But previous owner had 383 four speed. And of they wacked the hump up to get it in.. But he was nice enough to give me another auto hump with shifter. I paid $1600 for the car and could have sold it 6 times for alot more on the way home. I think I was being stalked by Mopar vultures all the way home. ( 350 Miles ) These pics are when I pulled it home sorry it was dark when I got home so they kinda stink.. It is fully stripped now and I will try to get some of the new pics on here. What you cannot see is some of that good nebraska hail damage. Lots of it, and my arm already hurts from sanding and I have not even started on them yet ;D.  Well here is some pics I will get new ones on soon!!
