Header bolts
« on: February 23, 2014 - 09:47:00 AM »
Well it seems that I have the honor of the first post......

I wanted to order some ARP header bolts for a 440 on summit but they don't have a listing for BB only SB. They do list 3/8-16 .750 bolt for the Chevy and Ford's, is this the same size for the mopar BB.

That's surprising.

I have their bolts on my intake. Did your headers not come with bolts? That's what I'm using.

have a set TTI headers with the TTI bolts, but I strip the head of a couple bolts looking to up grade bolts.

yup.. no reason not to use the chevy ones. a 3/8 bolt is a 3/8 bolt. might want to think about studs on the ends though, makes an easy install and they go into the water jackets.
