lca ?'s

72 cuda..has to much neg camber..pass. side is very noticeable...I have it at my friends shop...the cams are maxed out, so nothing to gain there..he's wondering if someone has installed a-body lca''s (which he thinks are longer than e-body lca)..is there a way we can tell what lca's are on the car now?...I have been told b and e body lca's are the same?..thanks!

Found on the net...I had heard the a-body lca was longer

B/E Body Lowers Are 12.8" Center To Center

A Body Lowers Are 13.3" Center To Center

I found the A-Body LCA to be 3/16 longer than E/B-Body's.
A-body on the left, e-body on the right , notice the shock mounting is slightly different. The shock hole is closer to the rivet on e-body . Also the A-Body sticks out where the lower ball joint stops contact the LCA , on the e-body the it is the opposite they are shaped in.  Check to be sure the LCA bushing are not worn too?

Np problem, glad to help! If you had A-Body LCA also the strut rod would be somewhat bound up if you had the stock bushings
