Well, a little bit more progress.

Got the pressure hose fitting a little better...

now the only problem I have is finding a coupler...the one I have is a little screwed.  I don't really want to buy a new one, to $$$$.

So I am at a standstill until I find one, any of course I am trying to make in to Moparfest this coming Saturday... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

New used coupler from National Moparts and we are back underway!!!

I took the afternoon off work today and buttoned it all up!

Fired it up, and so far no leaks.  But we will see if there are any puddles in the morning.

The fluid is foaming in the pump, but I am sure that is just air in the system, I hope.  I have gone lock to lock a few times, but only a few.  I will cycle it through more tomorrow.

The pump is also very noisy, but I am hopeful it will quiet down once it has some run time.

On the plus side, the steering column,  which I also rebuilt, no longer clunks, and I can not believe how easy it is to turn the wheel.  One finger steering while the car is sitting still...so much better then two handing it with the manual steering.

I am really looking forward to taking a spin tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for the help with my various questions.

Big thanks to Vlad (YYZ) and Alan (ANLAUTO) for the great deal on the parts!!

With any luck I will be off to Moparfest this weekend!

Just a quick update.

I made it to moparfest and after putting a good 120 miles on the car over the weekend, I like the power steering.

Yes its over boosted, yes I have a few leaks to fix, and probably should get an alignment, but I like it.

The difference between power and standard steering is night and day.  Very glad I made the switch.
