Stump pulling POWER!
« on: February 24, 2014 - 01:06:36 PM »
Just thought I would share a quickie video I made .

My two sons (12 and 14) were bored and there were two stumps we needed to pull......My son Tyler grabbed his camera and we went at it.

Not very big stumps -- and I guess the video pokes fun at that.

But it features my Ram 1500.  :)

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

That was seriously funny.  :2thumbs:
The music and script really brought in the thrill.  :2thumbs:
But to the little guys, this was serious business and looks like they had fun.  :ylsuper:

Thanks guys....glad you enjoyed the video.  Just trying to keep the creative juices flowing a bit while searching for work.  I didnt spend a lot of time with the video......didnt have that much footage......but me and the boys got a kick out of it.   :)

We had fun pulling the stumps for sure.

I was worried about the slab at first too, but after pulling the first one and seeing the size of the roots I figured it was worth a gamble.  Could have been an expensive gamble.....LOL

My driveway has (had) 6   8-10 foot Christmas trees along it.....one died last year and that stump was not on camera, but an equally good time....the second one died this past summer and the third was dead on one side for a long time.  There are still three, but they are getting too big and you know how these kinds of trees grow...from the inside out.....so as they get wider/taller, they get "dead" on the inside so pruning them back is next to impossible.

I predict a similar fate for the other three within a few years.

:roflsmiley: Oh man the memories...Had a close friend when growing up....bit of a wildman....Him and his wife used to drive by this house all the time and his wife always mentioned she like the evergreens out front...."they would make for a lovely Christmas tree" she would always say... So one year my buddy comes home with a tree exactly like the ones she loved.....It was about two weeks after Christmas, they drove by that house again and she noticed the stump.... :roflsmiley: Buddy says she just about killed him right there in the car...  :dupe:  :roflsmiley:
