69 Barracuda Grill
« on: February 17, 2014 - 03:56:03 PM »
My dad has been looking for a grill for his car and was wondering if anyone had some input into what this grill would be worth?

I own a 69 Cuda and I know that original grilles in great condition command some serious money.I have repaired many of them over the years and its a lot of work. The plastic is missing from some areas, the surrounds are pitted, the signal lenses are shot and I personally would keep looking for something a little better :2cents:
Does your dad need one side or both sides?
I don't have any for sale right now but I always look for decent grilles that can be fixed and can keep you in mind.

Sorry for the late reply, I am not sure what exactly he is missing I will see him this weekend and ask him, I will probably pass on this because of your advice. Please let me know if you do come across a decent grill. Ill post exactly what is the problem with my dads grill this weekend.  :wavingflag:

Those are real rough, they do repop 69 grilles but are a bit pricey.
I will keep my eyes open as swap meet season is gonna begin in a month around here and many know that I buy grilles to repair and resell.
I bought a 69 fastback a few years ago just for all the trim and grilles as the car sat under an apple tree since 1974 and had near perfect stainless trim and I ended up using a lot of stuff from that car on mine. Also keep this in mind,I had just the outer potmetal grille surrounds rechromed and that was near $400.
