« on: March 11, 2014 - 08:55:23 AM »
1969 Charger R/T restoration has started new quarters new truck pan and new rear frame rails have been all replaced by professional body shop, also new AMD doors and Hood , Engine (None# match) and transmission removed and all gaskets replaced new ceramic headers original 4 speed console car ,have all parts to complete restoration. Interior color is black carpet and headliner with white seats and door panels. Finish the charger yourself and save ,charger will be worth over $50,000 if done right...Thanks for looking

This is a 440 4 barrel car with no fender tag. The dash is in but the rest of the interior is removed and car is not painted yet. What's your opinion on what this car is worth as it sits? Sorry I don't know how to link to the Kijiji ad.

With out the fender tag and numbers engine it will never be worth close to $50,000 done. It may be worth $30,000 if its nice when you're done. Maybe worth $12k? now tough without pictures and more information.

I agree it won't be worth $50K. It's hard to put a value on a partly restored car. Going to see it on Sat.

heres the link http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1969-Dodge-Charger-R-T-Coupe-4-speed-W0QQAdIdZ573161127

it caught my eye too, but based on what i can read and see, 15k sounds right to me - thats all i would give. that car needs another 10-15k to complete, to do it right

let me know how your visit goes on saturday, very curious!

That looks a lot better than I pictured. Closer to $15k is more accurate.

I agree with everyone car done real nice will bring $30-35k tops.  No way 50K   :2cents:

Also make sure grill is in great condition as that can set you back a few bucks.

I would want to see underneath....what shape is the frame in and is it straight?  How is the suspension and how long ago were the bushings/bearings replaced?  $12-15K is in the ballpark, but just be cautious until you have seen the car in person if possible.
